James Cameron's Terminator film franchise features one of cinema's most iconic characters - the time-travelling T-800! Originally sent by the machines to 1984 to murder Sarah Connor, the mother of a future human resistance leader John Connor, the T-800 failed and was destroyed in the process. Another similar T-800 model was re-programmed by John Connor, then sent back to 1995 in order to protect his younger self from a more advanced Terminator, the T-1000. Several other T-800's were sent back to assassinate John Connor during the film series chronology, before the series go a soft reboot in 2015 with Terminator Genisys, effectively resetting the timeline so that the previous events never occurred. A recently announced and as yet untitled sequel is slated for release in 2019, and is intended to be the second part in a planned trilogy. To celebrate this iconic character, here's a selection of Displate artwork based on the popular Terminator franchise!
