The 1991 comedy, The Addams Family, was based on a drawn cartoon by Charles Addams, and focuses around the titular dysfunctional spooky family. The film adaptation revolves around the character of Fester, long-lost brother of Gomez, who mysteriously reappears after 25 years and is manipulated into breaking into the Addams' vault by con-artist Abigail Craven. A sequel, Addams Family Values, followed two years later, based around the new addition to the family, baby Pubert Addams. The first film was commercially successful, making several times the initial $30m budget, however, the sequel was deemed a commercial failure after failing to re-coup the enormous budget of $75m, falling short by over $25m at the box office. The characters have become synonymous with the Hallowe'en period, with the character of Wednesday Addams being a popular costume for girls, and Morticia Addams for women. To celebrate this cult favourite, here's a collection of Displate artwork featuring several of the popular characters!
