Force Friday is an annual Star Wars merchandise event for retailers held on the first Friday of September, where various Star Wars products are either launched or reduced in price for a weekend. The first Force Friday was held in 2015 to coincide with the forthcoming release of The Force Awakens in cinemas a few months later. In 2016, Force Friday was similarly used as a promotional platform for Rogue One. This year sees the release of Episode 8, The Last Jedi, with various promotional products for the film hitting shelves on September 1st!
