Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle is a cult favourite amongst Studio Ghibli fans, and arguably one of his finest anime films to date! The story revolves around a ten year old Japanese girl called Chihiro, who accidentally enters the spirit world while exploring after her father makes a wrong turn on their way to a new neighbourhood. Her parents are magically transformed into pigs, and she is forced to take a job in a bathhouse in order to try and find a way to rescue them. She befriends a boy called Haku who transforms into a dragon to fight the witch who runs the bathhouse. Together they retrieve a stolen seal that belongs to another witch called Zeniba, and Chihiro defeats a problematic spirit customer named No-Face. The curse is lifted, Chihiro is returned to her world, and her parents are transformed back into humans. Here's a selection of Displate artwork based on the popular Japanese animated film.
